Janelle Draper

Janelle Draper is a New York based comedian and writer. She performs all over the country, most notably at HBO's Women In Comedy Festival, Salem Comedy Festival and the Boston Comedy Festival where was runner-up for the 2020 nationwide competition. Pre-pandemic she produced and hosted a regularly sold-out show called Twisted Sistas at The Stand Comedy Club in NYC with her sister Ash Draper, Midwife & Nurse Practitioner. Janelle also brings her charm and quick wit on-air as a game show host for the offbeat comedy channel, IFC. You can watch her standup on IFC.com "That's Funny" and listen to it on Audible. She is a regular commentator on iHeart Radio and SiriusXM Raw Dog Comedy. Janelle's comedy can be described as off the cuff, high energy and honest. Janelle is originally from Boston but only has an accent when drinking Chardonnay. She started doing standup in LA when she was an NBC Page working on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
