BETHANY THERESE "Bethany was so good...she should be a multi-character/writer on Saturday Night Live." LA TIMES Bethany Therese's unique, upbeat stand up style incorporates all aspects of writing and performing. Bethany has played in comedy venues throughout the country including CAROLINES, THE COMIC STRIP NY, THE THROCKMORTON THEATRE, THE BREA IMPROV, CARLSBAD VILLAGE THEATRE, THE HOLLYWOOD IMPROV, FLAPPERS, THE COMEDY STORE, EL PASO COMIC STRIP to name a few. Bethany was also named one of California's Funniest Females, was named one of the 3 Funniest People in the OC and had the enormous pleasure of working with Robin Williams. Bethany also works independently with fellow writers and comics who are looking to punch up jokes in their existing projects. Bethany's acting roles include THE SOPRANOS, where she played opposite Steve Bushemi; the recent film HUMBOLDT COUNTY, with Chris Messina and Frances Conroy; and THE WAYSHOWER w/ Sally Kirkland and Eric Roberts. Bethany's Broadway credits include JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR w/ Ben Vereen and she portrayed the quirky ALI in the Broadway Touring Show of MAMMA MIA! Bethany's eclectic writing talent is also evident in the short film, SAVING SAM, produced by Cinema Revival, which she wrote and starred in. This independent film won the silver award for romantic comedy at WorldFest Houston and Best Romantic Comedy at New Port Beach Film Festival. Ongoing projects include, a number of half hour pilots, a webseries in pre-production, and the feature film, MOXIE, to be produced by Cinema Revival. She also recently was one of ten finalists in the Insider Industry Screenwriting Contest with her sci-if comedy feature WICKED HOT.
